"Island Vanguard"
Island Vanguard was built at Aker Yards AS, Langsten and delivered in March 2007. The hull was built at Aker Yards hullyard in Braila, Romania.
FACTS
This project concerns the vessel M/V "Island Vanguard", which is of UT 787CD Design. The vessel is a Multifunctional Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) Sub Sea Service Ship of apx 4.200 dwt and has a length of 86,3 m. She has accommodation for 54 people and a 740 sq.m deck area.
Further, the vessel has a 200-ton A-fram mounted above the moonpool, and a permanent garage installed work-ROV with 170 HP. The vessel is built and classed for use in the North Sea and worldwide.
Buyer and borrower is Island Offshore XII KS, Ulsteinvik. Final contract amount was apx NOK 425 million. Eksportfinans ASA participated with NOK 335 million.
