Export credit to Songa Offshore SE
“On 25 August 2011 Eksportfinans disbursed a loan of USD 200 mill. to Songa Offshore SE , which is a part of a larger bank facility of in total USD 951 mill. The new Eksportfinans loan has a repayment profile of 8.5 years and was drawn to part finance the semisubmersible drilling rig Songa Eclipse.
FAKTA
The rig that has been delivered from Jurong shipyard in Singapore has “state of the art” ultra-deepwater drilling capabilities and is set to drill offshore Angola. Drilling tools, systems and other important equipment has been provided to Jurong by a broad range of Norwegian exporters, hereunder: Aker Solutions, Kongsberg Maritime, ABB Norway AS and Jotun. The Eksportfinans loan is fully guaranteed by GIEK, and the facility has been arranged by Nordea.”
