Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of Eksportfinans ASA consists of eight members in all, four of which are representatives from the shareholding banks. Three are representatives for Norwegian industry, also elected by the shareholders. In addition, the Board has one representative for the employees.

Chairperson of the Board Geir Bergvoll (born 1952) is Head of Mergers and Acquisitions in DnB NOR Bank in Oslo. He was Division Manager of Capital Markets in DnB NOR Bank between 2005 and 2007. Prior to this, he held several managerial positions within the bank. Geir Bergvoll started in DnB NOR (then Sparebanken NOR) in 1990 following a period as Bank Manager in ABC-Bank. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Oslo.
Deputy Chairperson of the Board Carl E. Steen (born 1951) is Head of Shipping, Oil Services & International Division in Nordea Bank in Oslo which he has headed since 2001. Carl Erik Steen has had a number of managerial positions in Christiania Bank and Kreditkasse ASA since 1983, primarily within shipping. He holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Management Engineering from E.T.H. Zürich, Switzerland.
Chairperson of the Audit Committee Live Haukvik Aker (born 1963) is a Board member of Eksportfinans ASA, as well as member of the Board’s Audit Committee. Ms. Aker is Partner in Considium. Prior to this she was CFO of Grenland Group ASA and before that she was Vice President and CFO of Tandberg Data ASA in Oslo. She has previous experience as CEO and CFO from different industry and service companies. She holds a Masters degree in Finance from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland and a Master of Management degree from the BI Norwegian School of Management in Oslo. Live Haukvik Aker is also the Head of the Audit Committee in Eksportfinans.
Tor Bergstrøm (born 1948) is a Board member of Eksportfinans ASA. He currently holds the position as Executive Vice President of Anders Wilhelmsen & Co AS. Mr. Bergstrøm was for many years Executive Vice President and CFO of Aker ASA/Aker Maritime ASA, and he has headed Asset Management in the Storebrand Group. He also has experience from corporate banking with the banking group that today is named DnB Nor. He holds a business degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH).
Marianne Heien Blystad (born 1958) is a Board member of Eksportfinans ASA. She is an Attorney at Law with the law firm Ro and Sommersnes from 2008. Prior to this she was connected to the law firms Nordia DA and Bull & Co. Previous work experience includes positions in Blystad Shipping and Trading, Eksportfinans and Citibank. Mrs. Blystad holds a business degree from the Norwegian School of Management, (Handelshøyskolen BI) and a Law degree from the University of Oslo.
Bodil P. Hollingsæter (born 1958) is a Board member and member of the Audit Committee in Eksportfinans ASA. Bodil P. Hollingsæter is Executive Vice President and Regional Director for Romsdal and Nordmøre in Sparebanken Møre, Molde. She joined the bank in 2005, and has prior managerial experience from Romsdals Fellesbank and Møre og Romsdal County Council. She holds a Business degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) in Bergen.
Tone Lunde Bakker (born 1962) is a Board member of Eksportfinans ASA. Tone Lunde Bakker is a Regional Director (Østlandet) at Fokus Bank, and is also a member of the Danske Bank CIB (Corporate and Institutional Banking) leadergroup. Prior to this she held the position of Deputy Country Manager Business at SEB Norge, and has previous leader-experience from positions within Danske Bank/Fokus Bank and Christiania Bank and Kreditkasse. Tone Lunde Bakker holds a siviløkonom degree from Arizona State University and AFA (Autorisert Finans Analytiker) from the Norwegian School of Economics and Administration (NHH), Bergen.
Tor Østbø (born 1947) is a Board Member of Eksportfinans ASA, elected by and amongst the employees of the institution. Mr. Østbø is an Attorney-at-Law and a Senior Vice President in the Export Lending Department. Before joining Eksportfinans in 1982, Tor Østbø worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Alstahaug Country Court. He holds a law degree from the University of Oslo.
