WRITTEN APPLICATIONS:
Prospective suppliers (or borrowers) can submit a written application to Eksportfinans containing the following information:
- Name of buyer, borrower and supplier
- Estimated contract value
- Estimated Norwegian content in the contract
- Type of loan, amount, currencies and tenor
- Details of guarantor (where available)
Prospective suppliers (or borrowers) for Vessels should also include the following information:
- Brief description of project, e.g. yard, type of delivery, time of delivery, environmental issues
- Ships class / Classification Society
GUARANTEE WITH GIEK:
Once the borrower has submitted an application for guarantee to The Norwegian Guarantee Institute for Export Credits (GIEK), a copy of the application along with covering letter are sufficient to apply for funding from Eksportfinans.
